Floyd Rembert
Government Account Executive
Floyd Rembert leads through discipline as much as persuasion. As a Government Account Executive, he builds the kind of professional relationships that hold up under pressure, a skill shaped by years of corporate sales leadership and recognized with multiple industry awards.
The Long View
Leadership, for Floyd Rembert, starts before most people are awake. He is at it by 5:00am, working through a routine built to get him mentally and physically focused before the day's first call. That structure is not incidental to his success in corporate sales leadership — it is the foundation of it. Years with Fortune 500 companies taught him that results come from preparation repeated daily, not from a single good pitch.
His approach to government accounts centers on understanding what an organization actually needs, then building a solution around it rather than a product around a quota. "I'm relentless when it comes to servicing my current customers and new customers," he says, and that relentlessness is what has earned him multiple awards for sales leadership over the course of his career.
He traces much of this back to his parents, who taught him the value of hard work and told him he could achieve anything he put his mind to. That belief carried him through track and field and basketball in high school, where he set state records in the 200-meter and 400-meter, and it carries through now in how he leads — steady, consistent, and unwilling to cut corners.
Outside the office, he coaches youth baseball, work he has done since 2011, passing on the same habits of preparation and composure under pressure that have defined his own career.
